Crafting Beauty from Nature

Discover the blend of wood and bio-resin in stunning sculptures and functional art pieces.

Welcome to Waves of Wood

I’m a self-taught woodworker and artist who works with unusual timbers, often combining them with bio resin or lead-free metal to highlight their natural beauty and imperfections. Each piece is unique, shaped by the wood’s own story — its grain, flaws, and texture.

My work is organic, with each piece evolving naturally through the materials and process. I don’t always start with a fixed plan, as the journey of creation is as important as the final outcome. The beauty lies in the flow — the pieces often develop on their own and sometimes surprise me. I embrace the unexpected, letting the wood dictate its form and guide how it interacts with the resin or pewter.

I take inspiration from geological formations, rivers, and coastal landscapes. I’m fascinated by how nature balances order and chaos, and I often use the golden ratio as a quiet guide in my designs.

My creative process is messy, instinctive, and ever-changing. Ideas come in fragments, and I experiment until everything begins to connect. My aim is to create work where every element feels in harmony — a meeting point between nature and craftsmanship.
